REFUND POLICY

A Little Bit of Love values all customers and strives to provide quality products and an optimum shopping experience.  

We hope every purchase will be to your satisfaction.  If a return is necessary please send item(s) back within 14 days of the delivery date.  All merchandise returned must be unused, unopened.  If you wish to return the parcel please first send an email to alittlebitoflovebeauty@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for your return request.  Your payment will be credited back to the original form of payment.

Please note if returning by mail, we suggest using USPS priority shipping for convenience and tracking. You will be responsible for covering shipping costs to return items. Your returned items must be unused and unopened (free of any stains, debris, any signs of use/wear & tear). Defective items must be reported within 2 days of receipt. If not reported, we cannot issue credit.  If you believe you have received an incorrect item, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your package.

Damages and Issues
We hope every purchase is to your satisfaction, however, if your order arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us immediately at alittlebitoflovebeauty@gmail.com and we are happy to make things right.  If this results in a refund, your credited amount will be returned to your original form of payment.  Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund as well. 

Online orders that are shipped, and then returned to A Little Bit of Love due to an incorrect or “undeliverable” address, will be issued a full refund for the purchase amount (does not include shipping costs) to the original form of payment.  Please ensure that your shipping information is correct, and place a new online order.

SHIPPING 

All orders are shipped throughout the US via USPS Postal Mail.  Please allow 1-2 business days for your order to be processed and shipped.  Orders placed on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, & Holidays will be processed the next business day.  Most orders should arrive 2-3 business days from shipping date.  

You can also track your order by downloading a free Shopify app called ARRIVE.  This app helps you instantly track any orders you place here or any other Shopify stores.

Tracking information is provided with every order shipped. Once the tracking shows that your package was delivered and if you have not received it, you must contact USPS or delivery carrier.  We do not issue refunds or credits for packages that the carrier confirms as being delivered.

 

WHO CAN USE "A LITTLE BIT OF LOVE"?

Just like Love, "A Little Bit of Love" Products are great for all ages, hair types, and skin tones.  Highly recommended for dry skin, dry scalp, and dry hair. Ingredients used are natural remedies for eczema, psoriasis, anti-aging, sun protection, conditioning and so much more.  Please know that I too have allergies and very sensitive skin, and understand the value in quality ingredients.  

  • Body Scrubs: For those concerned about sensitive skin, face, and / or private areas, it is recommended that body scrubs be tested on a small area prior to use on full body.  

    Unlike typical body scrubs that are “swimming in oil” and leave behind a heavy, greasy film, ALBoL’s Body Scrubs are made with a coarser texture to deliver a more effective, customizable exfoliation. Our formula allows you to control how gentle or invigorating your exfoliation experience is—simply adjust your pressure or the amount you use to suit your skin’s needs.

    Each scrub also includes our signature “Duo Cleanse” soap, providing both cleansing and exfoliating benefits in one simple step. We’ve also included moisturizing oils that soften and condition your skin—leaving it smooth, supple, and refreshed, never oily or slippery.

  • Hair Butter / Beard Butter:  For those concerned about fine / thin / thinning hair, please note these butters are rich in quality ingredients and may be considered heavy for finer hair types.  However, our "finer" customers still report loving the hair butter to tame fly aways.  No matter your hair & curl type, it is highly recommended to use "A Little bit of Love" at a time, and always be mindful about weighing down your hair with too much product.  NEVER scoop this product!
  • Hair 2 Toe Body Wash / Shampoo:  For those of you concerned about hair porosity - this is a clarifying cleanser great for low porosity hair (hair that floats and does not absorb water).   

 

DO YOU ACCEPT CUSTOM ORDERS?

Yes! A few custom order options are available to help you get exactly what you need:

  1. Allergy-Friendly Requests
    If you’d like to order a product but have an allergy to one of its ingredients, you can request that the product be made without the allergen whenever possible.

  2. Airport Travel Sizes
    Traveling soon? You can request travel-sized versions of “A Little Bit of Love” products to ensure they meet airport carry-on requirements.

  3. Group & Event Orders
    Planning an event or looking for thoughtful gifts? For group orders of 11 or more items, please contact us directly for customized sets and discounted pricing.

  4. Hemp-Infused Butters & Oils
    If you’re managing significant pain, muscle strain, or recovery from an injury or surgery and require a stronger hemp infusion, please reach out for a personal consultation. While we do not provide medical advice, we will discuss your needs to determine safe and appropriate customization levels.

We kindly ask that you provide as much advance notice as possible:

  • Pick-Up Orders: Please allow at least 7 days’ notice.

  • Shipped Orders: Please allow at least 14 days’ notice to ensure adequate preparation and delivery time.

Custom orders may be picked up in person at any of ALBoL’s pop-up shops, vendor markets, or at Sunshine’s performances. This will be arranged at the time of ordering.

Shipped custom orders are sent via USPS according to ALBoL’s standard Shipping Guidelines and include tracking information for your convenience.

 

ALBoL's "CREATE YOUR OWN" WORKSHOP

ALBoL provides “Create Your Own” workshops where we gather in small groups to create your very own Little Bit of Love.  Make your product of choice, learn about its benefits and ingredients, and indulge in your own piece of spa at home.

Workshop Basics, Requirements & Guidelines

🦋 Workshops are for everyone ages 7 & up

🦋 Up to 10 participants per workshop  

🦋 Groups with children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult (in addition to the instructor) 

🦋 Workshops involve hands-on activity.  Participants must properly wash and dry hands before beginning any workshop

🦋 Please notify instructor of any skin allergies prior to workshop

🦋 Each participant takes home 1 product, usually the product made during the workshop.  Additional products are available for purchase.

🦋 Workshops are typically 45 minutes to an hour long.  I provide step by step instructions, demonstrating as needed, for you to create your product.  As we use each ingredient, I provide education and fun facts on what the ingredients are and why they are used.  As you make your product, your hands will be covered in the Love shared throughout the workshop, allowing you to then use and feel the benefits of what you just made. 

🦋 Use these workshops to get directly involved in making your own self-care items; enjoy some you-time or a great time with friends and family; create gifts for loved ones; or to simply treat yourself with A Little Bit of Love.  Workshops can also be customized to presentations, talks, or demonstrations; suitable for family, friends, classrooms, workplaces, and many programs.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS VEGAN-FRIENDLY?

Yes! All A Little Bit of Love (ALBoL) products are created with vegan, organic, and high-quality ingredients — completely free from alcohols, harsh chemicals, synthetic additives, and preservatives.

We are proud to uphold the following standards across our collection:

  • 🌱 Vegan-Friendly – made without animal-derived ingredients (with one exception, noted below).

  • 🐰 Cruelty-Free – never tested on animals.

  • 🌿 Clean Beauty – formulated only with pure, natural, and ethical ingredients.

  • ✋ Handcrafted – made in small batches to ensure quality, freshness, and integrity.

The only non-vegan exception is our Tanbella fragrance — our most-loved, top-selling scent — which contains the natural extract of honey’s essence. This single fragrance is the only product in our entire collection that includes an ingredient derived from honey.

We believe that what you put on your body is just as important as what you put in it. By using pure, raw, and organic ingredients, we protect your skin and hair from unnecessary toxins while also supporting a more ethical, sustainable, and compassionate approach to beauty.

A Little Bit of Love (ALBoL) participates in many pop-up shops, vendor markets, and small business events where customers can shop ALBoL in person throughout and around New York and New Jersey.  Customers are invited to “Join The Love” — our exclusive email list where we share monthly newsletters featuring our calendar of events, product updates, and special announcements.

You can sign up in any of the following ways:

  • ✅ Grant marketing permission when creating or updating your customer profile.

  • 💌 Enter your email address in the pop-up window on our website.

We value your time and inbox — you’ll only hear from us 1–2 times per month, never more.

CAN I BUY “A Little Bit of Love “ IN STORES?

The full ALBoL store is not currently sold in stores.  You can find cuticle oils and mini body butters whenever you receive your manicures and pedicures at Bellasol Nail Studio in Troy, NY @bellasol_studio.

You can also find your hemp-infused healing products (Beloved and Tanbella body butters & hemp-infused Body Oils) at Hemp Smarts Holistic Healing Studio in Bellmore, NY @hempsmarts.
